Where are Honda Vehicles Manufactured?

Honda has become a household name in North America thanks to its commitment to quality and reliability in the vehicles they produce. They have a long-running automotive manufacturing facility in Alliston, Ontario that saw the nine-millionth vehicle roll off the line in 2020. With over 35 years of production in Canada, you can be confident knowing that Honda vehicles are built to last.

Facts About Honda Manufacturing in Canada

Honda produces the majority of Canadian-sold vehicles in Canada, with a new vehicle coming off the production line almost every minute at the two Alliston, Ontario, production plants. Plant 1, which opened in 1988, is where the Honda Civic is made. The Civic is the top-selling car in Canada, as it has been for 24 straight years. As a result, Plant 1 acts as the global lead for the tenth-generation Civic, with a combined total of about 210,000 Honda Civic vehicles built in Canada each year. Plant 2 opened in 1998 and is dedicated to Honda and Acura SUVs, crossovers, and minivans. Models produced at Plant 2 include the Odyssey, Pilot, Ridgeline, and the Acura MDX and ZDX. Finally, Honda’s third manufacturing facility was opened in 2008; the Engine Plant. The Engine Plant was made to produce four-cylinder engines for Civic and CR-V models.
